Description

A delicate vintage Art Deco ring made of 14k white gold featuring a cabochon cut opal, circa 1920’s. The ring has an early Art Deco flavor with an angular shape and raised scroll design elements on each side of the center. The opal is oval, measures 6 x 4 mm and has a mostly blue coloration with flashes of green. It is set in a simple bezel. Overall width of the ring is 7.7 mm wide tapering to 1.4 mm at the base of the shank. It is a US finger size 7 1/2 and weighs 0.6 dwts. Condition is very good: the opal has some surface abrasions and the ring is slightly out-of round.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
