Description

A lovely Victorian combination of gold and turquoise in a handmade brooch circa 1880’s. Brooch has been tested as 14k yellow gold. It measures 1 1/4-inches in length and 1/4-inches wide (33 x 6.6 mm). It features eight cabochon cut turquoise with tiny beaded frames. Each side is accented by three gold beads (that have been soldered slightly off center so possibly the pin was oriented vertically?) Reverse has a traditional pin assembly with a C-catch consistent with its age. Overall condition is very good. It has been lightly polished.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
