A gorgeous pair of Victorian era dangle earrings, accented with carved coral roses, circa 1880’s. The earrings consist of a domed disc with a carved reddish-orange coral rose flanked in dimensional ivy leaves. The roses each measure approximately 6.5 mm wide and 7.5 mm tall. The disc measures 18.3 mm in diameter and features twisted wire accents and little dangle with articulated tassels. The tassels are lovely little wire-worked elements that give the earrings such a great look! The earring mountings are made of a gold-tone base metal (tested) with a gilt finish. Each has a good-sized ear wire with a safety hook on the reverse. Overall length is 1 5/8-inches (39.7 mm) and width is 11/16-inch (18 mm). Condition is very good: the mountings are slightly oxidized and the twisted wire design has some minor damage, one of the tiny tassels is missing–all issues are consistent with age and use.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
