A lovely pair of vintage Crown Trifari “Carousel” earrings featuring baguette cut rhinestones, circa 1950’s. The earrings are made of trifanium (a patented non-tarnishing silver tone base metal with a rhodium plated finish*) with non-pierced clip backs that function properly. Each earring consists of a circular ribbon-like design framed in baguette cut rhinestones with two dangling “tails. Overall dimensions of the earrings are 1 1/4-inch (30.7 mm) in length and 3/4-inch (19.0 mm) wide. Reverse is stamped with the appropriate Trifari maker’s mark. Condition is very good: there is some minor wear of the rhodium plating which is consistent with use and age.

I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
