Description

A pair of hand made sterling silver dangle earrings featuring vintage yellow gold-filled Victorian cuff links, circa 1890’s. Each earring features a rectangular yellow-gold filled cuff link front that measures 22.8 x 14.7 mm that is set in a sterling silver bezel frame. The front of each cuff link has a black enameled “taille d’epargne” design in a stylized cross design. Top of the earring is accented with a wire design with a 14k yellow gold bead. Total length of the earring (including the lever back ear wires) is 1 7/8-inches and width is 9/16-inches. Reverse of the earrings shows the backside of the cuff link where the original findings had been attached. Condition of the cuff links is good: some of the enameling is chipped and some of the gold overlay has worn, both are typical of age and use.

All of my vintage-original items have elements that have been previously worn and loved so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”.  Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.   Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase.  I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance.  I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
