A vintage Art Deco statement ring featuring a delicate filigree design and large pinkish-red imitation ruby center stone, circa 1930. Ring mounting is made of 14k white gold (stamped on the interior) and weighs 3.4 dwts (2.1 gr.). The center stone is octagonal and measures 15 x 7.6 mm; it is prong set with fancy bar prongs. Overall width of the ring is 16.5 mm tapering to 2.0 mm at the base of the shank; it is a finger size 6 1/2. Condition is very good: interior has a small crack (see photo) which was part of the original die-striking process and does not affect the structural integrity of the ring.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
