A vintage Edwardian domed bangle bracelet with a lovely floral hand-engraved design, circa 1930. It is stamped GOLD SHELL on the interior which is a process similar to gold-filled items; gold shell and gold-filled items typically have a much thicker gold overlay that lasts and looks great far longer than gold plated items. The bangle is hinged with a safety bar for extra security with a simple tab-released clasping mechanism that functions properly. Overall width of the bangle is 17.6 mm; it should comfortably fit those that wear 7 1/2 to 8-inch flexible bracelets. It is stamped A & Z, a company that was founded in 1905 and created fine jewelry until the 1970’s. Condition is very good: there are minor scuffs and scratches typical from age and use. It has been lightly polished.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
