Description
I’m really pleased with how this piece turned out (and almost kept it for myself!). It features Victorian elements set in yellow gold-filled mountings with a few 14k yellow gold accents. The top element is a black onyx stick pin (you can still see the original setting on the back side); onyx measures 18.5 x 14.0 mm. It is set in a new bezel with three 14k yellow gold bead accents. Dangling from the base of the onyx is a Victorian earring repurposed as a lovely accent. The dangle is hollow and consists of two pieces hinged together by a simple jump ring. Overall length of the pendant is 2-inches. Pendant is permanently attached to a simple cable chain. Total length of the piece is 19-inches. Condition of the vintage elements is good; the onyx has some surface abrasions and the dangle has several dents on both sides.
All of my vintage-original items have elements that have been previously worn and loved so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
