Description

Beautiful springy garden party colors give this vintage 1960’s era earring and brooch set a bold look. The set consists of a bold, asymmetrical brooch featuring two large oval imitation moonstones framed in pink, blue and green rhinestones. The largest stones measure 24 x 18 mm and 18 x 12 mm; both are cabochon cuts with a foiled backing. Other stones are a combination of marquise and round cut rhinestones. Overall dimensions are roughly 40 x 46 mm (1 5/8 x 1 3/4-inches). Reverse has a pin assembly consistent with its age that functions properly. Matching earrings also feature a large imitation moonstone with three accent rhinestones of blue, pink and green. Earrings are non-pierced clip backs and measure 1-inch in length and 5/8-inch wide. Both elements of the set are made of a gold-tone base metal. Condition is very good; imitation moonstones have some minor damage to the foiling.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
