Description

A vintage necklace featuring repurposed jewelry elements from the 1930’s. The focal point is a vintage cut-glass teardrop that measures 26 x 19 mm with a lovely amethyst purple color accented by a single cut glass bead. The teardrop dangles from an Art Nouveau-style element that is set with a baguette cut purple glass stone. Two small cultured freshwater pearls have been added as an accent. Pendant is attached to a 1930’s era vintage brass chain that measures 18-inches long. Overall condition of elements is very good: glass teardrop shows some minor wear consistent with age and use.

All of my vintage-original items have elements that have been previously worn and loved so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”.  Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.   Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
