Description

I love these earrings! A pair of beautiful Victorian dangling earrings, yellow gold-filled featuring a vivid orange bit of branch coral, circa 1890’s. Coral was all the rage during the Gilded Age and the infinity-like style of the mounting just adds another layer of interest. Each earring consists of yellow-gold filled hollow tubing with a stamped scroll design. The branch coral is a deep reddish-orange and is wrapped in wire to hold in place. The ear wires are also gold-filled and are not original to the pieces. Overall dimensions are 1 3/8-inches in length (including the ear wires) and 7/16-inches wide. Condition is near perfect; some of the gold overlay has worn on the high spots. The earrings have been lightly polished.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
