A lovely antique Victorian cigar-band ring made of 10k rose gold and with a fancy scroll and dot stamped design, circa 1890’s. The ring is 8.35 mm wide and weighs 1.8 dwts (2.7 gr); it is a US finger size 8. The pattern is on two-thirds of the band with a sizing bar in the back (it has been sized during its previous life as the solder seams are visible from that process). Interior is stamped with the hallmarks of J.R. Wood & Sons, a company that was established in the 1850’s and eventually became part of the Artcarved company in the 1970’s. Overall condition is very good.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
