An antique Victorian fob that is a gorgeously designed locket with imitation diamond accent, circa 1880’s. The locket is yellow gold-filled with a bit of silver-tone accents in the twisted wire elements along the sides. It is oval shaped that hinges at the top and a flat base. twisted wire accents frame each side along with a bit at the top. A diagonal panel on the front is set with a single imitation diamond (likely glass) that measures 4.0 mm. A simple oval jump ring is attached to the top (the original connecting ring that was soldered to the top appears to have been broken off at some point in its previous life). Overall dimensions, from the top of the jump ring to the base of the locket, are 30 mm (1 1/4-inches) and 22.0 mm (7/8-inch) wide. Condition is very good: some of the gold overlay has worn on the edges and high spots.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
