Description

An awesome pair of antique Victorian mourning earrings featuring faceted black onyx, seed pearls and 9k yellow gold (tested). Each earring consists of a 6.3 mm faceted bead and a faceted geometric shape dangle with seed pearl accents. The geometric elements have been hand-faceted (each is not perfectly symmetrical) and measure 17 mm long and 12 mm wide. Total length of the earring is approximately 1 1/8-inches (30 mm). A gold plate has been riveted through the black onyx and is set with three half seed pearls. Each has a simple kidney-shaped ear wire with latch. Condition is very good: the back on one has a chip where the rivet is located but is not visible from the front. The gold has oxidized slightly which is consistent with antique, lower-karat gold.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
