Description
This lovely vintage choker necklace features purple-cut glass set in a rose-themed setting, circa 1930’s. The center piece is an octagonal cut glass that measures 35.2 mm in length and 24 mm wide. It is set in a gold-tone base metal (likely brass) rose-design mounting that has a box clasp hidden on the reverse side. Overall dimensions of the center element is 39 mm (approximately 1 1/2-inches) in length and 37 mm (1 3/8-inches) wide. Attached to each side of the center stone are three cut glass beads that range in size from 9.6 to 10.8 mm. The connecting chain is a squared edge snake link chain that is 3.15 x 2.1 mm; total length of the necklace is 16 1/1-inches. Condition is very good: there are a very minor scratches on the cut glass elements and the mounting has a bit of oxidation. All condition issues are consistent with age and use.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
