Description

Every now and then I find a piece that really speaks to me and this is it! This is an antique 19th century statement ring dating to the mid-1850’s. It is 10k (tested) slightly rosy-yellow gold and is a US finger size 6. The top cluster features an old mine cut diamond that measures roughly 4 x 4 mm and weighs approximately 0.30 carat; clarity is VS2 and color is a faint yellow. It is set in a silver setting with milgrained edges. Surrounding the diamond are eight (8) cabochon cut turquoise also set in milgrain edged bezels. Overall width is 14.5 mm tapering to a 4.5 mm wide shank. Overall condition is very good: some of the turquoise is abraded, the edges of the bezels are slightly worn which is all consistent with age and wear.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
