Description

Gorgeous vintage Art Deco pin-brooch featuring a large marquise cut clear glass stone framed in filigree. Brooch is made of a silver tone base metal that is plated in a bright finish silver–most likely rhodium or chromium. It measures 1 5/8-inches in length (41.1 mm) and 15/16-inches wide (23mm). Center stone is marquise (or navette) shaped, cut glass that measures 33 x 13 mm overall. It is set in a fancy, serrated edge bezel. Filigree and a twisted wire accent at the base of the bezel accentuate the center stone. Reverse has a traditional style pin assembly appropriate for its age that does function properly. Condition is very good: there are some minor scratches on the table of the stone and some of the silver plating has worn off.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
