Delicate 1940’s Bypass Ring
A delicate vintage late Art Deco ring, 10k white gold that is set with diamonds. Ring is a bypass style with three (3) single cut diamonds set in illusion settings. Center diamond is 2.5 mm, sides are each 1.3 mm and the whole works weighs approximately 0.06 carat. Clarity is I-1/Color H-I. The beauty of illusion settings, which is typical of designs from this time period, is that the diamonds look bigger! Overall width is 4.7 mm that tapers to 1.3 mm at the base of the shank. Interior is stamped 10k. Overall condition is very good.
All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
