Description

A really finely crafted Art Deco brooch made of sterling silver and set with foil back rhinestones. Brooch features a marquise cut center stone that measures 10 x 5 mm and is framed with round rhinestones. Center stones are attached to a textured plate that accentuates the sparkle. Perimeter of the brooch is lined with baguette cut rhinestones. Overall length is 1 5/8-inches (40.2 mm) and width is 1 7/16-inches (35.2 mm) so it gives a nice statement. Reverse is stamped sterling and has a pin assembly consistent with its age. Most likely it has been rhodium plated which is why the metal has stayed so bright and shiny! It is in very good condition: a few of the rhinestones have darkened from age and wear.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
