A simply gorgeous vintage Art-Mode pendant by the ART MODE designer Arthur Pepper, circa 1955. Pendant creates a statement due to its size (3 3/8-inches total length including bail at the top). It is made of a silver tone base metal with a slight antique finish and features a large deep rosy-purple oval center stone, Center stone measures 25 x 18 mm. Surrounding the center stone are a combination of faux pearls, round antique cut rhinestones and six purple faceted imitation stones. The imitation pearls range in size from 3.5 to 6.0 mm. Width of the pendant is 1 7/8-inches. Reverse is stamped/signed ART. Attached chain is an oxidized link that measures 17-inches (not original to the pendant). Condition is very good: some of the pearls have been replaced. This piece needs to be handled carefully due to the exposed placement of many of the stones (pearls in particular can pop off if dropped on to a hard surface).

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
