Description

A large vintage gold-tone single flower brooch with bold teal colors and accented with round rhinestones, circa 1940. Brooch measures 2 5/8-inches in length and 1 3/4-inches wide. Flower is approximately an inch in diameter and features 6-marquise cut rhinestones, each measuring 8 x 4 mm. Round clear rhinestones accent the stem and ribbon-like flow of the design. Mounting is made of a base metal with a gold-tone overlay. Reverse has a traditional style pin assembly appropriate for its age. Condition is good: some of the rhinestones have discolored and the gold-tone overlay has worn off on high spots.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
