Description

An equine-themed reverse painted tie clip/bar, dating to the 1930’s. Image of horse is round, measures 13.8 mm in diameter (approximately 1/2-inch) and is a reverse painting of a horse with its bridle. Tie clip mounting is a silver-tone plated base metal that measures 2.0-inches in length. Condition is very good: glass dome has a few minor pits from wear and the plating has worn just a bit around the perimeter of the bezel.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
