Description
A vintage statement brooch featuring a circular wreath-like design with whimsical dangles, circa 1950. Brooch is set with assorted sizes of round rhinestones ranging from 6 mm to 3 mm. Two sizes of marquise cut rhinestones bring out the floral essence of the design (14 x 7 mm and 10 x 5 mm). All rhinestones are prong set in a silver-tone base metal. Overall size is 3 1/8-inches in length and 2-inches wide. Reverse has a traditional style pin assembly that functions properly. Condition is near perfect: there is some extremely minor discoloration of a few of the rhinestones.
All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
