Description

This lovely piece can be worn both as a brooch and as a pendant. It is a 1940’s era piece made of a silver-tone base metal featuring a dimensional rose in the center. Center of the rose is set with a pink rhinestone, outer edges of the pin are accented with clear rhinestones. All stones are prong set. Overall dimensions are 1 3/8-inches in length and 1 1/8-inches wide. Reverse has a traditional pin assembly and hidden pendant bail. Condition is very good: there is some pitting of the surface plating which is consistent with age and wear.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.

*Do not immerse plastic beads or foil back rhinestones in liquid cleaner. Best practices are to use a soft brush with a small amount of cleaner on rhinestones (make sure to dry immediately). Bead string will become discolored if immersed in liquid; best to use soft cloth, slightly dampened if needed. And, always put your jewelry on AFTER you have used perfume or hairspray. Your jewelry will thank you by staying sparkly for a long time!
