Description

So very 1940’s! This is a rather large statement Art Deco brooch manufactured by Monet from the 1940’s. It is Sterling Silver (stamped on reverse) and plated with yellow gold and rose gold. Bow is a nice and dimensional with that geometric Deco flavor. Overall dimensions are 2 3/4-inches in length and 7/8-inch in width. Pin assembly is consistent with the age of the piece and works properly. Condition is very good. There are few spots that show some oxidation which is typical of sterling.

All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
