A vintage circular gold-filled locket with a hand-engraved design, circa 1940’s. Locket is yellow-gold filled and is stamped with the maker’s mark P & K which refers to the manufacturer Pitman & Keeler, established in 1943. Overall dimensions are 1-inches in length (including jump ring at the top) and 13/16-inches wide. Locket hinges open and can hold a photo/memento in each half (both halves contain original frame to secure a photo. Front has a linear engraved design with a few scroll accents; reverse is plain. Locket is attached to a new 18-inch gold-filled chain with a spring ring clasp. Condition of locket is very good: surface has minor scratches and a few dents consistent with age and use.

Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is.  I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist.  I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc.  I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty.  If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina.  Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can.   Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
