An Antique Edwardian Ring, Delicate Cluster with Synthetic Ruby Center and Accent Seed Pearls, Circa 1910
A delicate Edwardian cluster ring featuring a vivid pink synthetic ruby framed in tiny seed pearls, set in 10k yellow gold. The center stone is a round faceted synthetic ruby that measures 3.75 mm. (Fun fact: rubies have been synthesized and used in jewelry since the 1880’s!) Six tiny seed pearls are prong set around the center stone. The entire cluster sits in a six-sided frame that measures 8.2 mm wide; the width at the base of the shank is 1.3 mm. It is a US finger size 6 3/4 and weighs 1.1 dwts. Condition is very good: care is recommended when wearing this ring due to the tiny prongs that hold the seed pearls in place.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
