Love the bright red color of the maple leaves! This is an early plastic/celluloid bracelet featuring nine lovely dangling maple leaf “charms”. Each leaf is attached to a oval, cable-link bracelet made of the same material, connected by a simple jump ring. Overall length of the bracelet is 7 1/2-inches. Each leaf measures 1 1/8 x 1.0-inches (25 x 29 mm) with a detailed textured design on the front half and smooth on reverse. Clasp is a traditional base metal spring ring (likely brass) that functions properly. Condition is near perfect: two leaf links have small chips at the “point”.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
Care for Plastic or Foil Backed Rhinestone Jewelry: Take care to not drop vintage pieces, especially on hard surfaces. Vintage jewelry often has vintage epoxy securing the stones; if jarred with enough force, the epoxy can crumble or break and stones can fall out. Also, do not immerse plastic beads or foil back rhinestones in liquid cleaner. Best practices are to use a soft cloth with a small amount of cleaner (don’t spray directly on rhinestones) and make sure to dry immediately. And, always put your jewelry on AFTER you have used perfume or hairspray. Your jewelry will thank you by staying sparkly for a long time!
