Description
A super dramatic vintage Ledo Polcini flowery-ribbon design brooch covered in baguette and round cut rhinestones, circa 1950’s. The brooch is made of a silver-tone base metal with a rhodium plating. It consists of three elements held together with tiny screws (visible on the reverse side). Dimensions of the brooch are 2 3/4-inches wide and 2 1/4-inches long. Reverse has a traditional pin stem and catch assembly appropriate for its age. Condition is near perfect: there are some slightly discolored rhinestones and a few minor surface scratches which are consistent with age and use.
All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. I use the term “delicate” in many of my listings which I interpret to mean small or dainty. If the ring or item requires extra care when worn, usually I use “fragile” or “wear with care”*. Most pieces have been lightly polished or cleaned, if possible, unless the process will damage or alter their natural patina**. The colors of modern gold and vintage gold can be slightly different; this is due to the variety and amounts of alloys mixed with gold during the manufacturing process. Some items can be altered, some cannot, so please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
Payment: I accept Etsy Payments and PaypaI. Please contact me with any questions or concerns at my web site www.tinacityad.com or through Etsy.
Thank you!
Tina
