Description
Gorgeous vintage Coro 1940’s perfume diffuser in the form of a bejeweled beetle brooch/pin. Overall dimensions are 7/8-inches in length and 3/4-inch wide. All stones are rhinestones that are set in place (rather than glued): blue rhinestones in the eyes, red used for the spots and the rest are clear for contrast. The beetle’s “head” is accented with red enamel. Reverse is marked Coro and has a traditional style pin assembly that functions properly. These perfumers were created while under the direction of Adolph Katz, (one of Coro’s well-known members). Condition is very good.
All of my vintage items are all previously worn and loved and so are sold as is. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA gemologist. I do my best to accurately describe items and am confident in my ability to assess stones, metal, construction, etc. Many pieces have not been polished or cleaned (aside from a soft cloth) due to their delicate nature or to retain their natural patina. Some items can be altered, some cannot but please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable.
Return policy: I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I will accept returns and refund the full amount paid less the cost of shipping and insurance. I ask that all items are returned to me in the same condition in which they were received and within two (2) weeks of receipt.
