Description
A handmade pair of classic stud earrings with a twist. Each earring is prong set with a marquise cut sapphire with a lovely deep royal blue color. The marquise cuts each measure 7.0 x 3.5 mm and have an approximate combined weight of 1.0 carat. At the base of the sapphire is a single bezel set full cut diamond; total weight of the diamonds is 0.04 carat. Prong settings and bezels are all 14k white gold, the posts and backs are 14k yellow gold. I opt for yellow gold posts due to the common allergic reaction to white gold (white gold contains nickel which can be an irritant).
All of my originals have been designed and manufactured by me in my studio. I love to make jewelry and am happy to accommodate most needs. Please keep in mind that custom-altered pieces are non-returnable. I have a long history in the jewelry industry (since 1993!) and am a certified GIA (Gemological Institute of America) gemologist.
